AVETIS AHARONYAN Cardiologist, He has been the head of the Cardiac Surgery Department of "QanCor " Cardio-Vascular Medical Center since 2018.

From 1983-1989 studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Yerevan State Medical Institute.

From 2000-2004 completed the clinical residency in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at the National Institute of Health after Academician S. Avdalbekyan.

From 1993-1994 he was the head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Malatia Medical Center.

From 1994-1998 worked as a physician-reanimatologist at the Department of the Cardiac Surgery of Nork-Marash Medical Center.

From 2002-2005 he was a junior surgeon at the Department of the Cardiac Surgery of Nork-Marash Medical Center.

From 2007-2009 he headed the Laboratory of Medical Research and Technical Development of the Cardiac Surgery Department of Nork-Marash Medical Center and was a surgeon in the same department.

From 2009-2012 headed the Cardiac Surgery Department of Zeytun Cardio-Vascular Medical Center.

From 2012–2016 headed the Cardiac Surgery Department of the Cardio-Vascular Medical Center.

From 2012–2016 headed the Cardiac Surgery Department of "QanCor" Cardio-Vascular Medical Center.

From 2015-2016 he was a consultant-heart surgeon at the Department of Cardiac Surgery of Nork-Marash Medical Center.

In 2016 he was a visiting surgeon at the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital of Odense of the Kingdom of Denmark.

He participated in numerous professional trainings both in the homeland and abroad, in particular at Westmead Children's Hospital (New South Wales, Australia 2005-2006), Kogarah St. George Hospital (New South Wales, Australia, 2006) Cleveland Hospital Heart Center (Cleveland, Ohio, USA, 2007).

He is the author of about two dozen scientific articles.
