POGOSYAN ANNA YURII (1973)

Surgeon (maxillofacial), doctor of medical sciences, professor. From 2010 to the present, she is the head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and ENT Diseases in the No. 1 Hospital Complex «Heratsi», from 2014 to the present head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at YSMU.

From 1991-1996 studied at the dentistry faculty of YSMU.

From 1996 -1997, completed an internship at the Van Dental Clinic.

In 2003  defended her thesis and received a Ph.D. in medical sciences.

In 2004 received the title of Associate Professor.

In 2012 defended her thesis and received a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree.

From 1997-2006 - Assistant Professor of Surgical Dentistry, YSMU, 2005-2007 - Associate Professor, Department of Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery, National Institute of Health, 2007 - Associate Professor, Department of Surgery, YSMU.

From 2004–2010 managed the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Muratsan University Hospital.

From 2007-2010 - Associate Professor, Department of Surgical Dentistry, YSMU.

From 2010-2014 - Associate Professor, Department of Surgical Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, YSMU.

Participated in numerous training courses abroad, including (98th annual AAOMS course in Las Vegas, 2016), 11th annual course in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic dermatology (Las Vegas, 2015), course in plasma surgery (Cannes, 2014), 12th international course of plastic surgery of the face (Erlangen Surgery, Germany, 2013), specialized courses in dental implantology (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011), advanced dental course implantology (2008, 2009).

Since 1996 she is the head of the Association of Dentists of Armenia, since 2009 a member of the delegation of the Association of Dental Education and Research, since 2011 a member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, since 2012 a member of EACMFS, since 2015 a member of the editorial board Journal of Orthopedic Oncology (USA), since 2016 is the president of the Armenian Association of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery.

She was awarded the anniversary Silver Medal of YSMU (2010).

Author of 102 scientific articles and 14 licenses.
